Course objectives
This course's main objective is to help students obtain an analytical and critical view of the pillars on which the United States was built. It is a critical study of the significant historical events of the U.S history from the early colonies to the pre-World War 1 era. It aids students in understanding how those events shaped the "American" we know today. It studies the important ideologies that shaped crucial periods in the history of American society, politics, and foreign affairs.
