This course aims to develop students’ translation skills between Arabic and English through a systematic and practical translation process. Students will learn to approach translation as a structured activity based on understanding, research, drafting, and self-revision.
The course focuses on meaning, context, and accuracy rather than word-for-word translation. By the end of the course, students will be able to analyze texts critically, identify key ideas and difficult terminology, conduct documentary research, produce accurate translations, and revise their work independently.
